Niagara Food Specialties products are pretty much singular in the North American marketplace with absolutely no chemical additives or preservatives (“naturally occurring” or otherwise). They handcraft their products using only sea salt and a few spices you’ll find in your home’s kitchen pantry.
The original logo, hand-drawn and rich in character posed clarity and scalability challenges. Our redesign, derived from traditional butcher block stamps, preserves a key element of the old brand while allowing the ease and flexibility provided by a digital format. From tactile business cards and minimalist letterhead to a comprehensive brand book, every element reinforces Niagara Food Specialties’ dedication to tradition and their all-natural philosophy.
Starting with the trade show and market demonstration experiences through to the brochure and web design, the Niagara Food Specialties brand was extended across each customer interaction. We brought their story to life with a visual language rooted in authenticity with rich product photography, clean information design, and messaging that speaks directly to their commitment: no shortcuts, no compromises. Whether on a tote bag or a touchscreen, the brand delivers on its promise — naturally.
Whether it is a vacuum-sealed slice pack label or deli counter displays, each piece of the packaging and point-of-sale collateral was designed to reinforce the Niagara Food Specialties claim. Those actions clarified the design process when to unify the regulatory requirements with a clean, elevated aesthetic that stands out in refrigerated aisles and specialty grocers alike. Clear, honest, and uncompromising, the visual system brings old-world salumi traditions into today’s marketplace — with clarity and shelf presence to match.
The market demonstration is more than a sales moment — it is a point of connection for their customers. Filled with life and vibrancy, that environment anchors Niagara Food Specialties’ connection with customers. To complement that energy, we developed a series of social videos centred around the key brand claims — to support the experience with authentic testimonials, simple recipes, and product storytelling designed to inform, inspire, and invite a deeper appreciation of their craft.
